Last Wednesday, 27th May 2025 marked a special milestone as we celebrated the graduation of the sixth cohort of the Professional Diploma in Design Leadership and Management, delivered by Design Skillnet in collaboration with PARK Academy.
The day was one of inspiration, reflection and pride, as five talented design professionals wrapped up their 10-month journey with the presentation of their final projects. These weren’t just academic exercises, they were real, strategic pitches aimed at gaining buy-in from their organisational leadership teams.
Each participant presented their project not only to their peers and course director but also to their managers making the occasion a true showcase of the impact and potential of design within business. The projects put forward were ambitious and highly relevant, each one a testament to the participants’ growth as confident design leaders. Most importantly, they all championed design as a driver for innovation and transformation within their organisations.
The feedback from guests in the room was overwhelmingly positive, and we sincerely hope these projects gain the support needed to move from vision to reality.
Following the presentations, certificates were awarded to each participant and we toasted to the achievements of the group with a well-deserved glass of prosecco while sharing reflections on the learning journey they’ve all been part of.
The celebration continued with a final group meal, an opportunity to honour not only what was learned, but the meaningful connections formed along the way.
