Last Thursday, 15th May 2025, we gathered at the Spencer Hotel for a very special occasion — the graduation ceremony of the 8th cohort of the Applied Learning and Mentorship in UX programme, run by UXTree in collaboration with Design Skillnet.
Hosted by Design Skillnet, the evening brought together mentees and mentors to celebrate an inspiring journey of growth, collaboration and achievement.
Over the course of 15 weeks, this intensive programme offered early-career UX designers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience, build confidence and sharpen their skills under the guidance of experienced industry professionals. Participants received tailored support to improve their portfolios, navigate interviews and refine their case studies, all while forming lasting connections with peers and mentors alike.
The graduation event was a chance to recognise these accomplishments, reflect on the journey and look forward to what’s next. Certificates and awards were handed out in celebration of the hard work and dedication shown by every mentee and mentor.
We are incredibly proud of what this cohort has achieved and we can’t wait to see how they will continue shaping the future of UX.
