The Final Presentations for the Professional Diploma in Design Leadership and Management (formerly Design Management Professional Diploma) 2022, delivered by Design Skillnet and Grow Europe, took place on January 18th at the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. This event was the culmination of 11 months of learning, hard work, sharing experiences and growing together, during which time the group undertook modules on Design Leadership, Design Management, Design Quality, Design Process, Design Language, Design Value, Managing Service Design, Design Strategy, Design Briefing and Design in CX.
Their final challenge was to undertake a brief to improve ‘a specific aspect’ in the area of design management within their business and to pitch this idea, during the Final Presentations, to their most relevant stakeholder, typically a senior member of their organisation or business peer/potential partner.
Congratulations to the 2022 Diploma class for superb interpretations of the brief, application to their business, innovative proposals and winning pitches spanning topics from improved and enhanced processes to communication and language to innovative new products and services. Thank you to the internal sponsors and stakeholders for your presence and support on the day and for your continued support for the group as they move forward to put their proposals into action. Internal sponsorship is key to success.
Graduates leave emboldened with the skills to lead and manage design within their organisations and businesses, equipped with a practical toolkit to take their careers and business into the next phase of growth, productivity and profitability.
