Design Skillnet is delighted to announce that we are one of the proud sponsors of GASP! The Business of Digital Storytelling – Creative Industry Conference, which will get under the hood of the business of telling stories creatively on digital platforms.
Storytelling is fundamental to the human condition. What tools do we need to safeguard the storytelling of the future and keep the creative industry thriving?
Join us in Limerick on Thursday 30th and Friday 31st March 2023 in Limerick for a fantastic day, discussing the topic at GASP!, instigated by Piquant, a full-service creative agency based in Limerick city. Located in person in Limerick city, the conference celebrates an international growth industry that embraces creativity and digital technology. This curated in-person event includes speakers from Google, TikTok and Cartoon Saloon; plus panel talks. It is suitable for creative professionals across the industries of design, media production, communications, web development, marketing and digitisation.
During the conference guests and speakers will investigate the convergence of creativity and technology, they will explore digital platforms and look at the evolution and future of content creation, they will examine open source opportunities, and will assess accessibility and inclusivity in an online world. We are delighted to be part of the discussion!
Meet us at GASP!
We will be taking part in the discussion panel “Scaling Up in the Creative Industry: How to Tell Your Business Story”, which will be hosted by business accelerator growth coach Jeannette Naughton of Prospero Coaching, who delivers Design Skillnet’s Designs on Growth programme. Following an introduction by Róisín Buckley of Piquant, Jeannette will discuss the topic with Celine Dee, Founder and Director at RichardsDee and our very own Niamh O’Shaughnessy, Learning and Development Manager of Design Skillnet on Thursday from 2-3pm. The creative industry is thriving and this event will bring together experts who have scaled their businesses and overcome obstacles to share their experiences and advice. The panel will delve into the challenges of growing a creative business and share strategies for effectively telling unique business stories, managing growth and sustaining teams.
Come and chat with us about the opportunities IDI and Design Skillnet has to offer as we host a Drinks Reception for the most talented and creative people in the industry to share ideas and hatch out new projects together on Thursday evening at 6pm, following the Conference.
IDI will also be supporting the Salon du Chat – a curated conversation installation, where design students get the opportunity to network with creative industry professionals while exploring thought-provoking conversation topics on Friday 31st March from 10:30am to 12:00pm.
