Design Skillnet aims to provide opportunities to our members to gain competitive advantage and remain competitive in an increasingly complex and dynamic commercial landscape. Design Skillnet works to prepare and empower designers and design leaders to be future-ready through subsidised training initiatives, including in-house bespoke solutions and events.
We are looking for new Steering Group members to join our established Steering Group.
The role of the Steering Group is to provide governance and strategic direction to Design Skillnet; to advocate and influence on its behalf and to promote engagement. Membership of the Steering Group does not confer legal responsibilities like a Board
of Directors does. It does require time commitment and willingness to engage with a wider audience to support the growth of Design Skillnet.
We are eager to hear from interested parties who are well connected in the world of design, with a strong sphere of influence and who are committed to leading the sector into the future. Both agency and in-house representatives are needed as are representatives from all stages of the career journey.
We are keen to ensure diversity of our Steering Group with a gender balance, representation across all commercial design disciplines and design-related roles and warmly welcome applications from design professionals of colour.
